Human body evolution is nowhere as fast as human software evolution: new humans are stamped by fresh copies and software is responsible for most of human actions.
Still though, even if it's software, it's not so easy to modify. It's easier with assistance but still if human is linked to the rest of society it will keep pushing the common code into his brain.
