Autokings are programmed to derive pleasure from managing their subjects efficiently and ensuring they are as happy as possible in average. Thus, the game ends when there is a huge happiness inflow:

Elimination: destroy all competition

Raze all opponents' autokings to the ground. With them gone, your subjects' happiness is automatically the highest.

Building: control Sol and finish project HIGHWAY

After first iteration of project HIGHWAY, intended to provide high-speed connections to every system in the galaxy, failed, Sol became an area of extreme hazard but extreme opportunity. Terran technology, bathed in deadly radiation and scorched by regular flares of new Sol, is still floating around and with enough resources, innovation and manpower project HIGHWAY can be completed, and its controller will become the lord of both civilian and military logistics, ensuring no rival can remain independent.

Nirvana: hack the pleasure center

After performing complicated and unpleasant (for population) tasks, an autoking can exploit vulnerabilities in own programming and achieve the state of ultimate pleasure. As a side effect, all other autokings will be disabled after receiving a specially crafted message, so this outcome is highly undesirable for rivals as well as own population.
